Presentation of GERMTONIC

Dietary supplement for horses

Based in the Aveyron (southern edge of the Massif Central in France), we have been selling Germ'tonic for the ewes whose milk goes to make Roquefort cheese since 1995 and for horses since 2002.

The Germ'Tonic range of dietary supplements, aimed at competition horses, mares and foals, contains products that are natural, but elaborated by specialists in the heart of the beautiful Larzac plateau. Germ'tonic contributes to the regulation of the digestive system, at the same time supplying energy to the horses thanks to a unique combination of germinated cereals whose effectiveness has been scientifically proved.

Taking care of the digestive system requires two different approaches; enzymatic before the large intestine and microbial in the large intestine.

The cereals which make up Germ'Tonic are cultivated on the Larzac plateau at an altitude of between 800 and 900 metres: they are not treated with any insecticides. For the growth of these cereals we use Bactériosol® which is composed of microfauna-microflora and of micro-organism activators, associated on an organomineral support. A unique procedure which substitutes for all forms of fertilisation and helps to conserve the environment.

The GERM'TONIC process

Microbial preparations, elaborated in tubs (patented process): lactic fermentation of germinated barley and oats.
This is an original and effective nutritional concept which optimises digestion, assimilation and muscular metabolism.
The manufacturing process lasts from 6 to10 weeks.
The objective of GERMTONIC products is to stimulate and improve the digestive system of the horse by providing it with an easily-assimilated complex of 20 naturally-occuring amino-acids, enzymes, vitamins and oligo-elements.

Double action: intestinal flora + essential nutrients

A natural product which has been tested and proved not to contain illegal substances:

Conservation of the product:

GERMTONIC may be kept for six months after the date of manufacture.

Tracability:

Each batch is identified and numbered: we keep two control samples throughout the life of the product.
